Hello
I often work on multilingual websites. I fully internationalized the php files of the plugin and translated the admin to French (have a version available for you, if you want ^^)
Nevertheless, there is a small problem with the fact that templates are htm / html files only. Therefore, it is impossible to add any php code inside (I’m on a shared server where the addtype command in .htaccess is not activated, because of CGI)
So would it be possible to have templates with .php extension ? It is actually possible to create a different template for each language, but I find this is a bad practice.
Hi Marie,
sorry for my late reply, I must have missed this one.
Translation of templates it a bit tricky with the current version and I think you already made the best out of it.
I am working on an all new ASA2 version and I will consider translation for it as well as conditions in templates and many more.
OK thanks for the answer 🙂 I’ll manage in between !
What do you think about making the templates WPML compatible? Do you use WPML? Or would you prefer a proprietary solution?
Thanks 😉
I use WPML, that would be perfect 🙂
