API for getting Amazon product details

    Hi!

    I use Amazon Simple Admin on many of my websites and I think it is really awesome! But I have this one request, that would make it even greater. Currently I am working on a plugin for managing product details on a WordPress website and being able to display them with just a shortcode. I was thinking of maybe incorporating an option to combine it with the Amazon Simple Affiliate plugin, so that you can display charts and tables that also have Amazon details as well as affiliate links in it.

    Do you think you will integrate an API where you can easily get affiliate links etc. from, for further developing?

    Sorry for my late reply. I missed this topic.

    From your description it is hard to think what exactly you would expect from ASA. If you just want to display certain product details, you could do that with ASA2’s shortcode option “value”, see: http://docs.getasa2.com/shortcodes_asa2.html#value

    This can also be used to only get the affiliate link, like so: [asa2 value="AmazonURL"]ASIN[/asa2]

    If that is not what you mean, please give me some examples.
